Oh God! In the morning sunlight, I am walking through the fields of wheat. I can't see the end of the field—everything is covered with white fog, like my disturbed mind looking for peace and ecstasy, going through hundreds of savaals in my mind.
Oh Akaal Purakh! Oh Waheguru! I am just a traveller in Your field, searching for the divine light from Your Darbar.
Oh Waheguru, I am understanding why You created the ants, oh Lord!
I am knowing why You created the doves, oh Eternal!
I understand why You created this world, oh Lord!
Now I am getting closer to the end of this field, oh Lord. I can see the divine light from the sky, which ratifies all the sins into good.
Oh God, now I can hear the Gurbani from the Gurudwara saying:
**“Nanak naam chardi kala, tere bhaane sarbat da bhala.”**
Oh Waheguru, I can smell the sweet aroma of Kada Prasad from Your Darbar, oh Lord!
Oh Lord! Me, with my eyes closed, holding my hands together, with all saints and Gurus in my mind.
Oh Lord! Now I can hear the lines from the Anand Sahib in my ears, with my eyes filled with tears and my mind with ecstasy:
**ana(n)dh bhiaa meree maae satiguroo mai paiaa ||
satigur ta paiaa sahaj setee man vajeeaa vaadhaieeaa ||
raag ratan paravaar pareeaa sabadh gaavan aaieeaa ||
sabadho ta gaavahu haree keraa man jinee vasaiaa ||
kahai naanak ana(n)dh hoaa satiguroo mai paiaa ||1||**
